Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Upcoming Days

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the territory of the Republic of Armenia on May 22, and in separate regions from May 24-26. On May 23, significant rainfall is anticipated in many areas. This information is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The wind will be southeast at 3-6 m/s, with gusts increasing to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature is expected to gradually increase by 7-9 degrees from May 22-25.

In Yerevan, short-lived rain and thunderstorms are expected on May 23, with possible rain on May 22 and from May 24-26. Wind gusts during thunderstorms may reach 14-18 m/s.

In the capital, the air temperature today will range from 23-25 degrees during the day and 17-19 degrees in the evening.
