I Want Messi to Return, says Barcelona Vice President
Barcelona's vice president Rafa Yuste has addressed the potential return of Argentina's World Cup champion striker Lionel Messi to the Catalan club. As reported by news.am, he stated:
“I want Messi to return. He is a product of our academy, has given everything to the club, and we have had a wonderful relationship. For all these reasons, I wish for him to be back at Barcelona. Beautiful stories should have happy endings. We would all be delighted if Messi decides to return,” Yuste's comments were quoted by RMC Sport.
It is noted that Messi's contract with French champions PSG will expire on June 30. Messi played for Barcelona from 2003 to 2021, becoming a ten-time champion of Spain and a four-time winner of the Champions League.
