Vladimir Zelensky has stated that Bakhmut is no longer under Ukrainian control. This was reported by Sky News. During the G7 summit, in response to a question about whether the city is under the control of Ukrainian forces, Zelensky remarked:

“I think not.”

“At this moment, it exists only in our hearts,” the President of Ukraine added.

The fact that Bakhmut has come under the control of Russian forces has also been confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense, following which Vladimir Putin congratulated the Wagner Group and the armed forces of Russia.

It is noted that all those who stood out in this operation will be presented with state awards.
