Police to Assist Drivers in Measuring Window Tinting Transparency
During the establishment and development of the patrol service, it has been repeatedly stated that one of the main objectives of the division is not only to detect administrative violations but also to strengthen the connection between society and the police in fighting violations and to increase trust in law enforcement. Based on this principle, the patrol service will conduct awareness-raising activities in the capital and regions.
Drivers will have the opportunity to check the level of transparency of their vehicle windows with the help of patrol service units. The schedule for these awareness-raising activities is as follows:

It should be noted that according to the provisions of domestic legislation and the Customs Union's technical regulations, the transparency of front side windows of vehicles must be at least 70%. From June 1, patrol officers and traffic police will identify vehicles that violate window transparency measurements and impose administrative penalties amounting to twenty-five times the minimum wage.
Dear drivers, we urge you to remove the tinting from front side windows or replace darkened windows to maintain allowable levels of transparency.
