Fog and Hail: Weather Conditions in Armenia

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on May 20, isolated areas may experience fog, and from May 20 to 24, hail is also possible. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

From May 20 to 21, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in many regions, while between May 22 and 24, isolated areas may also see similar weather. Thunderstorms may bring enhanced winds of 15-20 m/s.

The wind will be from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s. Daytime air temperatures are projected to drop by 6-8 degrees on May 20-21 and will rise by the same amount from May 22-24.

In Yerevan, brief rainfall and thunderstorms are also anticipated on May 20-21, with possible rain and thunderstorms on May 22-24. During thunderstorm conditions, wind speeds may increase to 14-18 m/s.

Daytime temperatures in the capital on May 20 are expected to register between +18 to +20 degrees Celsius.
