Firefighting Operations at Nubarashen Landfill Continue

Firefighting operations at the Nubarashen landfill are ongoing, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

As of 10:30 AM, there are still smoldering hotspots. Approximately 1,000 cubic meters of waste is burning in different areas across 5 hectares.

In the construction waste area, about 1,000 square meters is on fire but is currently isolated.

It is recalled that on May 18, the National Crisis Management Center received information regarding a fire outbreak at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan.
