VIDEO: Tense Situation as Parents of Fallen Soldiers Block Road

The parents of fallen servicemen have blocked Arshakunyats Boulevard. Opposition lawmakers are also present at the scene.

It should be noted that the Shengavit General Jurisdiction Court is examining today, on May 19, a petition to detain Gayane Martirosyan, the mother of Zhora Martirosyan who was killed in the 44-day war. Ashot Pashinyan has filed a report regarding the incident. A criminal case has been initiated at the Investigative Committee under the article of kidnapping, and Gayane Martirosyan has been arrested.

Recall that on May 17, information was circulated that members of the NGO “Call of the Sons” attempted to kidnap the Prime Minister's son. According to reports, the parents of the fallen servicemen forced Ashot Pashinyan to get into their vehicle, but he managed to escape from it during a brief stop, after which he was hit by a vehicle following members of that same organization.
