The United States is imposing new sanctions on companies in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia, involving a total of 71 organizations, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. This information was reported by gazeta.ru.

The published list includes one company from Armenia and one from Kyrgyzstan, while the rest are from the Russian Federation.

Among those sanctioned are NPK Tekhmash, Ulyanovsk Mechanical Plant, PJSC Kurganmashzavod, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, Bryansk Automobile Plant, Ural, Military Industrial Company, Tulmashzavod, and several other defense firms.

TASS reports that the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service has also been included in the U.S. sanctions list.

It was previously reported that a new package of U.S. anti-Russian sanctions would include around 300 companies, individuals, ships, and aircraft.

On the eve of the G7 leaders' summit, a senior official in the U.S. administration added that export restrictions would impact 70 Russian enterprises, as well as other countries.

According to the American official, new restrictions will also target companies involved in attempts to circumvent sanctions operating in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

It is noted that G7 countries reaffirmed their commitment to providing financial, humanitarian, military, and diplomatic support to Ukraine.
