Tree Falls Due to Wind in Jermuk

On May 19, at 16:23, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received a report that a tree had fallen onto the roadway of the highway from the intersection in Jermuk towards Vayk due to strong winds. An operational group from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a tree had fallen on the roadway at kilometer 145 of the Yerevan-Meghri highway (approximately 2 meters). Rescuers have cut up the tree and removed it from the roadway, as reported by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
