The Number of Children Poisoned in Kindergarten Reaches 16: What is Their Condition?
It was reported that on May 18 at 22:35, the police received a report from the "Artashat" Medical Center regarding 14 children admitted with unspecified food poisoning symptoms.
Officers from the Artashat police department determined that the children are students from one of the kindergartens in Artashat, who exhibited symptoms of food poisoning after returning home and were then hospitalized.
Auroranews confirmed with the "Artashat" Medical Center, where the deputy director for maternal and child health, Dr. Grigor Shadyan, informed us that the number of hospitalized children has now reached 16, all from the same kindergarten.
"The condition of some of the children is serious, while others are moderately severe; their condition is continuously changing," Shadyan noted, adding that since yesterday, they have been arriving at the medical center complaining of dizziness, weakness, uncontrollable vomiting, and drowsiness.
However, the doctor did not specify what food caused the poisoning, stating that this question would be addressed by the National Center for Disease Control.
It is noted that the circumstances are still being clarified, and the relevant documents have been sent to the Ararat Regional Investigative Department.
