No One Wants to Work at the Ministry of Economy
The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' writes: 'There are staffing issues at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. Minister Vahan Kerobyan's staff is not complete, much like many other ministries, and this situation has persisted for a long time.
'Zhoghovurd' has examined the official website of the Ministry of Economy. According to the available data on the site, Minister Vahan Kerobyan does not have a press secretary. There are also vacant positions in the departments; for instance, the Ministry lacks heads of the Knowledge-Based Economy Department, Light Industry Department, as well as the Animal Husbandry and Food Safety Departments.
If we talk about divisions, the head positions of the first division and several other subdivisions are vacant. There is no head for the Office of Trade Representatives and Investor Support, nor for the Marketing and Promotion Department.
This all indicates that no one wants to work at the ministry, and the personal factor of Minister Kerobyan is also significant. Under his leadership, there have been changes in the ministry, leading to the consolidation of departments and divisions. His deputies also frequently change.'
