Mother of Deceased Serviceman Refuses to End Hunger Strike, Lawyer Says
The arrested Gayane Martirosyan, suspected of kidnapping the son of the Prime Minister, has refused to end her hunger strike, lawyer Ruben Melikyan stated. He mentioned in a Facebook post that he visited her.
“Unfortunately, she has declined to end her hunger strike. Her health condition is satisfactory,” the lawyer wrote.
Melikyan also noted that the court will announce a decision regarding the measure of restraint for Gayane Hakobyan on May 20 at 15:00.
