Video: Calls Are Coming from Bank Numbers Requesting Codes, Martirosyan Alerts
Various cybercriminals have learned to call from Armenian banks' phone numbers, warns media expert Samvel Martirosyan. In his video message, Martirosyan informs: "They call from the bank's number—it's fake—saying, 'You have a security issue; we will provide you with a code; please send the code back to us so we can protect you.' Naturally, people get scared, the code arrives, and they give it away, resulting in their money being stolen." The media expert advises relying on the old and good method in such situations: never to share any code with anyone.
