Turkish Embassy Warns Its Citizens in Azerbaijan
The Turkish Embassy in Baku has issued a statement to its citizens residing in Azerbaijan regarding the second round of presidential elections. This was announced on the embassy's Twitter page.
According to the post, four ballot boxes will be set up at the embassy on May 20 and 21, and one ballot box will be available on May 22. “Voting for Turkish citizens in Azerbaijan during the second round of presidential elections will take place from May 20-22 at the embassy in Baku, as well as at the consulates in Ganja and Nakhchivan,” the statement noted.
It is important to remind that the date for the second round of elections is May 28. The race for the presidency will be contested between two candidates: the current President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
