The situation at the frontline is relatively stable as of 08:30, reported the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Torosyan, to Auroranews.

It should be noted that on May 17, around 16:15, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire towards a Armenian position located in the direction of Sotk, resulting in injuries to a service member of the RA Ministry of Defense. The serviceman suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds and passed away before being transported to the hospital.

Furthermore, it is emphasized that Azerbaijani forces also fired towards the ambulance that was transporting the injured serviceman. As a result, the ambulance driver was also wounded from the enemy fire.
