Ashot Pashinyan Recognized as Victim, Investigative Committee States
The son of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Ashot Pashinyan, has been recognized as a victim in the incident that occurred yesterday. This information was confirmed by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
It is important to note that the newspaper affiliated with the Prime Minister's family, "Haykakan Zhamank" reported yesterday that members of the NGO "Call of the Sons" attempted to abduct the Prime Minister's son.
According to the newspaper, the parents of fallen servicemen forced Ashot Pashinyan to get into their vehicle, but he managed to throw himself out of the car when it came to a brief stop, resulting in him being struck by a vehicle following the members of the organization.
Later, it became known that the report filed by Ashot Pashinyan at the Armenian police was transferred to the Investigative Committee, and a criminal case was initiated under the article of abduction of a person, leading to the arrest of one individual, Gayane Hakobyan.
On the same night, human rights defender Ruben Melikyan reported that Gayane Hakobyan's health had deteriorated, and she was transported by ambulance and escorted by police to the "Erebuni" Medical Center. It was revealed in the morning that Gayane Hakobyan had been transferred from "Erebuni" Medical Center to a detention facility.
