Elon Musk Calls Remote Work 'Nonsense'
Businessman Elon Musk has labeled remote work as a "morally wrong nonsense," stating that he feels unfair towards employees who cannot work from home, according to The Verge.
Musk asserts that such a work regime hampers productivity. "I believe people work better when they are in the office," said the billionaire. In 2022, he mandated all Twitter employees to return to the office, threatening layoffs otherwise; now employees are required to spend at least 40 hours a week at their workplace.
"If you want to work at Tesla, SpaceX, or Twitter, you need to come to work every day," the entrepreneur concluded.
