Accident Involving Police Patrol Vehicle Leaves Injured

On May 17, a serious car accident occurred in the Lori region. Around 08:45, a Lada Priora with Russian license plates crossed into the opposite lane within the 2nd tunnel of the Alaverdi-Vanadzor road and collided with a Toyota RAV4, reports Shamshyan.com.

According to a photojournalist at the scene, three individuals were transported to the Vanadzor medical center with bodily injuries.

The Lori Regional Department of the Police has reported the incident to the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s Lori regional investigative division, which dispatched a team headed by the responsible duty investigator.

An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident, during which the identities of the drivers and the injured are being determined. The photojournalist notes that the Toyota RAV4 is registered under the Police Patrol Service of Armenia.
