YouTube Blocks Kommersant Radio Account

YouTube has removed the account of "Kommersant Radio," which had 510,000 subscribers, the radio station announced via its Telegram channel on Tuesday. They stated that they had not violated the platform's rules.

Andrey Gorbunov, the chief editor of "Kommersant Radio," told TASS that the station's two channels were blocked without prior warning. "At 17:04, we received an editorial letter from YouTube stating, 'The radio 'Kommersant' has had its YouTube channel deleted,' at the same moment our main channel, which had 510,000 subscribers, along with the backup 'R.K.P.' channel with another hundred thousand subscribers, were removed. It is unclear what specifically led to our removal; there were no warnings, no issues regarding deletion or editing," he said.

According to Gorbunov, all broadcasts of "Kommersant Radio" will now take place on the "Radio K.P." channel. Editors are also still discussing whether they will sue Google regarding the blocking. "It is not decided yet. We will discuss this issue with our legal department," he added.
