The Number of Armenian Visitors to Georgia Exceeds That of Azerbaijanis: Statistics

According to the National Statistical Service of Georgia (Geostat), in the first quarter of 2023, Armenia ranks third in the number of visitors to Georgia, with 182,500 visitors. This is reported by Alik Media.

According to Geostat, these figures are approximately 4.5 times higher than the number of visitors from Azerbaijan.

In terms of visitor numbers, Russia ranks first with 256,800 visitors, followed by Turkey with 216,400 visitors. It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan has not yet reopened its land borders, which were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
