Citizen Presents Counterfeit $100 and $50 Bills at Bank

On May 14, an employee of a bank operating in Yerevan called the operational management center of the police to report that a citizen had presented counterfeit $100 and $50 bills at the bank. The police reported that officers of the Shengavit police station responded to the call.

A resident of the Syunik region was arrested and taken to the police station for attempting to pass counterfeit currency. The 44-year-old man and the forged documents have been submitted to the investigation body. A criminal case has been initiated.
