Victory Under the Rain: Urartu Becomes Armenia Cup Champion

At the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, the Armenian Cup final between Shirak and Urartu took place yesterday. Urartu claimed the cup title for the fourth time in its history, defeating its opponent with a score of 2-1.

“Of course, there are no easy finals, and never have been. This was a difficult final. We managed to score an early goal, but we also conceded at the start, receiving the scenario that we expected. Karen Melkonyan's beautiful goal adorned this final, through which we became the cup winners,” commented Urartu's head coach Dmitriy Gunkov about the match.
