Strong Winds Cause Damage in Gyumri

On May 13, at 19:06, the Shirak regional crisis management center received a report that strong winds had damaged the roof of a house on Gandilyan Street in Gyumri. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

A firefighting rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the roof (approximately 30 square meters) of one of the houses on Gandilyan Street had been torn off by the strong winds and had fallen to the ground, damaging two columns and a gas pipe.

The rescuers have cordoned off the area and disassembled the column.
