Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense is Lying: Statement from the Armenian Ministry of Defense

The Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense's statement claiming that at 20:30 today, units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire from a mortar toward Azerbaijan's positions in the eastern part of the border is yet another piece of disinformation. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

It is important to note that Azerbaijani armed units fired artillery and mortar towards Armenian positions near Sotk on May 11, resulting in 4 wounded on the Armenian side due to this provocation.

On the same day, Azerbaijani troops used artillery against Norabaki in the Gegharkunik region and mortars toward Verin Shorzha.

On May 12, Azerbaijan fired in the direction of the village of Kut and used drones towards Sotk. As a result of the enemy's fire, one soldier was killed and two were wounded. Following two days of provocations, the Armenian side has reported a total of 1 death (Narek Norairi Baghdasaryan, born in 2003) and 6 wounded.
