Video: Fans Throw Bottles at Kurdish Player During Football Match in Turkey
Nothing unusual and nothing out of the ordinary in the Turkish routine. This was reported by the Telegram channel Baghramyan 26, along with a video of the incident.
The report states that a Kurdish player from Amedspor FC, who hails from the Kurdish city of Diyarbakir (the historical capital of Great Armenia, founded by Tigran II in ancient Amid), was attempting to take a corner kick during a match against the Turkish Bursaspor FC when bottles were thrown in his direction.
It is noted that Bursaspor FC is known for its particular affection for extreme nationalist slogans and gestures.
For context, Amedspor is a Kurdish sports club located in Diyarbakir, while Bursaspor is a Turkish sports club based in the city of Bursa.
