Woman Who Left Note at Putin's Parents' Grave Sentenced to 2 Years Probation
The Primorsky District Court of St. Petersburg has sentenced Irina Tsibaneva, who left a note at the grave of Russian President Vladimir Putin's parents, to two years of probation, according to a report from the city's unified press service. This information was also reported by RIA Novosti.
The court has imposed a two-year suspended sentence with a two-year probation period, the press service stated.
According to investigators, on October 6, 2022, Tsibaneva left a note at the Serafimovsky Cemetery insulting the President. She has been charged with vandalism of cemeteries based on political hatred.
Tsibaneva partially admitted her guilt, stating that her actions did not lead to criminal liability, the press service added.
