Soldiers Who Receive 'Unsatisfactory' Assessments Will Lose Bonuses

Soldiers who receive an 'unsatisfactory' assessment will be deprived of bonuses following their evaluations. This was announced today by Defense Minister Suren Papikyan during a government session, where he presented a draft decision regarding a new procedure for calculating bonuses for contract soldiers based on their assessment results.
"The amount of the bonus calculated based on the assessment results is not subject to payment if, according to the evaluation of physical, drill, and firearm preparedness, the soldier received an 'unsatisfactory' grade in at least one preparedness category or failed the service knowledge test," stated the minister.
According to Papikyan, a soldier receives an 'unsatisfactory' mark if they answer incorrectly at least 21 questions during each examination. Those who answer correctly between 30 and 34 questions will receive a 'satisfactory' grade, while those who correctly answer between 35 and 44 questions will receive a 'good' mark. Soldiers answering 45 or more questions correctly will receive an 'excellent' grade.
A soldier receives an 'excellent' overall assessment if they score 'excellent' in all forms of preparedness and service knowledge tests. A soldier will be rated 'good' if they score 'excellent' in all assessments but one, in which they score 'good'. They will be rated 'satisfactory' if they score 'satisfactory' in one assessment, with the others being 'good' and 'excellent'.
As for the amounts of bonuses, officers receiving an 'excellent' grade will receive 470,000 drams, while those receiving a 'good' grade will get 420,000 drams, and those with a 'satisfactory' grade will receive 230,000 drams. For the military's other ranks, those achieving 'excellent' will receive 395,000 drams, 'good' will earn 345,000 drams, and 'satisfactory' will get 205,000 drams.
Moreover, bonuses will be distributed monthly.
