€92,300,000 Loan to the Government of Armenia

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide the Government of Armenia with a loan worth €92,300,000.

The purpose of the loan is budget support. Today, the Armenian government approved the proposal of the Ministry of Finance to initiate the domestic process for the ratification of the loan agreement.

According to the justification for the decision, the budget support measures will be directed towards enhancing climate change mitigation and adaptation, improving the regulatory framework for environmental management, and implementing relevant reforms.
