Military Personnel of the Southern Military District Order Vehicles and Tanks in Armenia

In Armenia, the servicemen of the Southern Military District (SMD) of the Russian Ministry of Defense have completed planned work on the improvement, re-equipping, and maintenance of the vehicle and tank training ground at the Alagyaz high-altitude training area. This information was reported by the press service of the district.

“Specialists carried out the modernization of the tank and vehicle grounds, which include extreme ascents and descents, trench bridges, challenging terrain sections, and other obstacles that develop maneuverability for drivers operating military equipment,” the statement noted.

The maintenance was carried out not only on routes for military and special equipment traffic with obstacles but also in theoretical training areas. Special attention was given to difficult sections where SMD personnel perform high-speed maneuvers.
