Lachin Corridor Must Be Opened, OSCE Co-Chairman Tells Armenian Security Council Secretary
On May 10, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan met with Igor Khovaev, the Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special representative for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Grigoryan and Khovaev discussed the latest developments regarding the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Security Council Secretary presented the Armenian side's positions on several issues concerning the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
Addressing the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the parties emphasized that the rights and security of the Artsakh Armenians must be respected and protected. The Russian side stressed that the Lachin Corridor must be opened and operate within the framework of the November 9 trilateral statement.
