Armenia's Defense Ministry Delegation Participates in 'DEFEA 2023' International Exhibition in Greece
Initiated by the Armenian Embassy in Greece, delegations from the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense and the Armenian Defense Industry Committee participated in the 'DEFEA 2023' international exhibition on defense and security held at the 'Metropolitan Expo' exhibition center in Spata, Greece. It is noted that 'DEFEA' serves as an important platform for international relations, industrial cooperation, and the exchange of information on modern technological developments in the defense and security sector. Major companies from the global defense industry, as well as research centers and institutions shaping developments in high technology, are participating in the exhibition.
Participants from numerous countries present the latest developments in the global market of defense technologies, further highlighting that the advancement of defense systems is a driving force for both technological progress and economic development. This was also emphasized by Greece's Minister of Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos, who opened the exhibition.
Present at the opening ceremony were Greece's Deputy Minister of Defense Nikos Hardalias, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy Kostas Fragogianis, the Chief of Staff of the Greek Armed Forces, as well as leaders from the Hellenic Army's naval, land, and air forces. Official government and military delegations are also participating in the exhibition, along with visitors from approximately 77 countries.
