Yerevan-Dubai Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Shiraz

The aircraft servicing the Yerevan-Dubai flight operated by FlyOne Armenia made an emergency landing at Shiraz Airport in Iran on May 7. This was confirmed by Aram Ananyan, the chairman of the company’s board of directors, in a conversation with NEWS.am.

Ananyan did not provide further details but mentioned that the company would issue a statement during the day.

Citizens who reported the issue on social media indicated that passengers had to wait six hours on the plane before it was able to proceed to Dubai.

It is noteworthy that according to the Zvartnots Airport website, the airline had another scheduled flight to Dubai shortly after midnight, which was not canceled.
