VIDEO: We Cannot Conduct Engineering Works in Tegh Village. There Are Gunshots Every Day

Melikset Poghossian, the former governor of Syunik, stated during a press conference in Yerablur today that he has been involved in the defense and engineering works of the new 300 km border from Nrnadzor to Khuznavar.

In response to remarks that Azerbaijanis have advanced in the area of Tegh village, he noted that they have made progress on a 5 km section. “They have pushed in, they have encroached. The Russian peacekeeping troops were stationed there, and they have pulled back, becoming entrenched there. There are posts that have moved either 5 meters forward or backward,” Poghossian said.

He emphasized that this area should have been secured by border troops, but there are clashes occurring there every day. “Neither our side nor theirs can carry out engineering works; there are gunshots,” Poghossian added.
