Ukraine Announces Historical Achievement

Ukraine's air defense forces have successfully intercepted a Russian hypersonic "Kinzhal" missile for the first time. This information was confirmed by the commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleschuk.

“I congratulate the Ukrainian people on this historic event. Yes, we shot down the "unmatched" “Kinzhal”, he wrote.

Earlier, analysts from Defense Express reported that during the night of May 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a "Kinzhal" hypersonic missile.

Analysts published photographs of the missile debris, which had fallen in the Kyiv region, sourced from intelligence reports.
