Rare Pistol Gifted to Zelensky by Czech President

Czech President Petr Pavel has gifted a CZ 75 self-loading pistol to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. This was announced by the Czech leader on his Twitter account.

Pavel noted that he presented a rare pistol from a special series dedicated to the centenary of the highest award of the Czech Republic, the Order of the White Lion.

The order is usually given for "outstanding services to the country, contributions to the defense and security of the state," as well as for enhancing the international standing of the nation.

The Czech leader emphasized that this reflects the courage with which Zelensky leads Ukraine.
