Turkey's military operations at the border with Syria and Iraq have not concluded; Ankara is waiting for the right moment. This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in an interview with TVnet.

“Our cross-border operations have not finished; we are simply waiting for the right moment,” Erdoğan said.

Earlier, Turkey's presidential spokesman İbrahim Kalın announced that Ankara is prepared for a new military operation in northern Syria, which could begin at any moment.

The presence of Turkish forces in the border area of Syria, where they are conducting operations against Kurdish formations, has repeatedly been labeled illegal by Damascus, which has called on Ankara to withdraw its troops.
