Video: Flight Delayed by Bee Swarm on Airplane Wing in the US
A flight in the US was delayed for four hours due to a swarm of bees accumulating on one of the airplane's wings. This information was shared on Twitter by a passenger traveling from Houston to Atlanta.
"My flight from Houston is delayed because bees have gathered on one of the airplane's wings. We won't be allowed to leave until the bees are removed," the user wrote.
The captain announced that the beekeeper would not remove the insects as they do not have permission to touch the airplane, and pest control services would not allow spraying the bees.
According to the woman, the bees flew away on their own once one of the plane's engines started.
