Sullivan States Conditions Under Which Israel Will Be Given 'Freedom of Action' on Iran
The National Security Advisor to the U.S. President, Jake Sullivan, announced that Washington recognizes Israel's right to 'freedom of action' if Iran attempts to acquire nuclear weapons. This information was reported by the Russian news agency TASS.
He emphasized that the American side has clearly articulated its stance to Iran regarding this issue. Sullivan recalled how U.S. President Joe Biden has repeatedly warned that actions to reinforce this statement could be undertaken, including accepting Israel's freedom of action.
Sullivan noted that the United States will continue to cooperate with Iran on matters related to its nuclear program. He also labeled Iran's withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as a tragic mistake.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant had stated that Iran has accumulated enough uranium to produce five nuclear bombs.
