Major Accident: Conditions of Two Injured Individuals Are Serious
On May 5, at 07:39, the Lori Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident had occurred near the village of Lernapat (on the Vanadzor-Spitak highway), and there were injured individuals who required assistance.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that vehicles of makes "VAZ-2107" and "VAZ-2106" had collided at the 13th km of the Vanadzor-Spitak highway.
Before rescuers arrived, the injured individuals H. R. (born in 1996), A. T. (born in 1988), and Kh. O. (born in 2006) were taken to the Vanadzor Medical Center, where H. R. and A. T.'s health conditions were assessed as serious, while Kh. O.'s condition was moderate.
Rescue workers freed passenger G. V. (born in 2002) from the "VAZ-2107" vehicle and brought them to the ambulance. The injured individual has been hospitalized at the Vanadzor Medical Center.
