A Man's Body Discovered in Restricted Area at Zvartnots Airport

Yesterday, on May 4, a tragic incident occurred at Zvartnots International Airport. Around 22:55, the "Aviabuzh" medical center at Zvartnots Airport received a report at the operational management center of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs that a body was found in the restricted area.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators have determined that the deceased is 65-year-old Khachatur K. from the Ararat region, who passed through the restricted area after checking in for flight number 630 to Yerevan-Minvod. It was there that he began to feel unwell, leading to the declaration of his biological death.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, there were no signs of violence on the body upon external examination.

Based on the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered.
