VIDEO: Protesters Block Railway in France
In the town of Saint, France, protesters have blocked a railway in demonstration against President Emmanuel Macron's visit. Additionally, electricity has been partially cut off at the lycée where Macron is delivering a speech.
According to a post on the Twitter page of Revolution Permanente, "As part of a spontaneous protest, people have just gone out onto the railway in Saint, but they were stopped by the police."
This marks the second such incident within a month. On April 19, during Macron's visit to the Mathis woodworking factory in Lower Rhine, electricity was also cut off. The responsibility for the incident has been claimed by trade unions organizing protests against pension reforms.
