VIDEO: Police Detain One of the Protesters at a Demonstration
Earlier today, police detained one of the protesters near the government building.
We have reported that a protest is taking place near the government building, where the parents of fallen soldiers and opposition public figures are expressing their dissatisfaction with the government’s policies regarding Nagorno-Karabakh and the normalization of relations with Baku and Ankara.
Participants in the protest have splattered red paint on photographs of government officials, particularly the Prime Minister and his wife, promising a "Armenian Nuremberg." Protesters are holding photos of fallen soldiers and banners with the names of Armenian towns and villages, some of which have come under Azerbaijani control after the 44-day war, while several others are currently under threat.
