Samvel Vardanyan: "If the word 'traitor' is not insulting for Pashinyan, why was I detained?"

“The statement was quite laughable. In that context, it is unclear to me why 15-20 members of the Red Beret units and security personnel detained me after that word. If it is not an insult to him, and he is not afraid, then why treat an ordinary citizen like this?” said Samvel Vardanyan, who referred to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as a 'traitor,' during a conversation with a journalist, commenting on the Prime Minister's speech yesterday.

It is noteworthy that Pashinyan had stated in the National Assembly: “I have been called a 'traitor' so many times that I am no longer afraid of being called a 'traitor.'”
