Major Accident in Yerevan: Injuries Reported, Citizen Struck by Vehicle

Today, on May 3rd, a major chain-reaction car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 09:30, vehicles including a BMW, three Mercedes, a Ford Transit, and an Opel collided on Shinararneri Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, the accident also involved a pedestrian being hit, resulting in two individuals being transported to Armenia Medical Center with bodily injuries.

The emergency medical team from Yerevan's 1-03 worked promptly, providing first aid to the injured on-site before their transfer to the hospital.

The fire and rescue team disconnected the batteries of the vehicles, secured the gas tanks of several cars, and conducted ongoing monitoring at the scene.

Eyewitnesses at the location reported that the Mercedes with license plate 37 TA 839 collided first with another Mercedes and an Opel, then continued forward and struck another parked Mercedes. This subsequent vehicle then moved forward and collided with a parked Ford Transit, which finally hit a parked BMW.
