Video: Azerbaijanis Are Mining Portions of Armenia's Sovereign Territory, Committing Theft: Tatoyan

We have conducted fact-finding work in the communities of Nerk’in Hand, Srashen, and Jakatun in the Syunik region, along the Kapan-Jakatun road. This is stated in a report released by the Tatoyan Foundation.

“The new evidence obtained confirms that Azerbaijani armed forces continue to engage in illegal fortification activities, disrupting the safety and normal lives of the residents,” the report mentions.

According to Arman Tatoyan, director of the Tatoyan Foundation, Azerbaijanis are firing shots from positions near the village, attempting to intimidate the local population. “People have lost the ability to use their land, agricultural fields, and pastures that belong to them by right of ownership,” emphasized Tatoyan, adding that Azerbaijanis are planting mines in areas adjacent to their positions but already within Armenia's sovereign territory, as well as committing thefts, including stealing large livestock.
