Kim Kardashian Wows at Met Gala in Dress Adorned with 50,000 Pearls

Kim Kardashian arrived at the Met Gala 2023 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City wearing a stunning dress adorned with 50,000 pearls. This year's event was dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld.

The 42-year-old reality star chose a specially designed Schiaparelli gown, which features the hand-applied pearls. The mother of four explained that she opted for pearls because "what better way to describe Karl than with Chanel’s iconic pearls?" Consequently, her attire became one of Chanel's signature looks.

"I just wanted to feel glamorous," she said on the red carpet. Kim attended the event with her eldest daughter, North West, who was eagerly anticipating her first attendance at the Met Gala.

Some fans compared Kim's dress to her Playboy photoshoot from 2007.
