Islamic Jihad Leader Dies in Prison After Hunger Strike
Hader Adnan, one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement, has died in an Israeli prison after a hunger strike that lasted 86 days, according to the Times of Israel. It is reported that Adnan was found unconscious in his cell.
He was transferred to a hospital, where unsuccessful attempts were made to resuscitate him.
Earlier, Israeli soldiers had arrested seven Palestinians on the West Bank on suspicion of terrorist activities.
