Prigozhin Reports Advancements of Wagner in Bakhmut

The founder of the Wagner private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has reported that on Monday, May 1, the group's units managed to advance up to 120 meters in various directions in Artemivsk (Ukrainian name: Bakhmut). This was stated in a message from his press service.

“Today, Wagner has advanced up to 120 meters in Bakhmut, our units have captured an area of 45,000 square meters,” said Prigozhin.

Earlier, from Soledar, Prigozhin congratulated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Ground Forces, Alexander Syrsky, on May 1.

On April 30, Prigozhin announced that the group's fighters had advanced up to 230 meters in various directions in Artemivsk (Bakhmut) on Sunday. However, he noted that an area of 2.9 square kilometers remains under the control of Ukrainian troops.
