I Do Not Have Direct Communication with Armenian Authorities: Artsakh Prime Minister
There has been no statement made by the Armenian authorities that has been discussed with me as a representative of the Artsakh authorities. This was stated today, on May 1, by Artsakh Prime Minister Gurgen Nersisyan in the Artsakh National Assembly while responding to MP Metakse Hakobyan's question, regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's constant claims that the Artsakh authorities are informed about all the processes taking place regarding Artsakh by them.
The Prime Minister stated that he does not have direct communication with the Armenian authorities: “I am periodically in touch with individuals involved in legal processes. Within that framework, I present my proposals. I do not have direct communication with the Armenian authorities, therefore I communicate with our Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” said the Prime Minister.
According to Gurgen Nersisyan, the Artsakh authorities currently have significant duties to inform the international community about what is happening in Artsakh.
Metakse Hakobyan noted that the Artsakh authorities have never opposed the statements made by the Armenian authorities. “As long as the Armenian authorities are pursuing such a policy in agreement with the Artsakh authorities, therefore you do not have much to do inside; your responsibilities are outside,” she remarked.
