The United Kingdom Plans to Acquire New Weapons for Ukraine
The United Kingdom intends to acquire long-range missiles to transfer to Ukraine, reports Defense24.
"They plan to purchase missiles with a range of 100 to 300 kilometers, which can be launched from land, sea, or air," the publication states.
The article lists the main requirements for these missiles, including low likelihood of interception and a navigation system resilient to electronic warfare, among others.
"Funds for weapons and equipment will be taken from the international support fund for Ukraine, which has been established through contributions from the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Lithuania. Applications from participants are open until May 4," the article adds.
Western politicians are continuously discussing how Ukraine should defeat Russia on the battlefield and are increasingly supplying weapons to the Kyiv regime. The Kremlin has responded by stating that military aid will fundamentally solve nothing but only prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people.
